COURSE MODULES

Our curriculum collections are designed to be integrated into social studies and humanities course work. Each course module icon determines the kind of learning activity that will be covered in the capsule, so students and teachers can learn, experience and enjoy a wide range of interactive activities together.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

Currently a work in progress, the Museum intends to continue to build out more course modules over time to bring our extensive archives and collections to virtual life. Our archives come from the papers, photographs, journals, ledgers and first hand accounts collected by the descendants of the owners and employees of the brick manufacturing industry.

Donate TODAY!

This rich historical legacy needs your help to survive and continue the work. Please support the Museum and donate today!

Our course modules are based on a learner-centric environment where the instructors learn along with the students. Our lesson plans are organized around core areas of investigation using the Museum’s historical archives as the inspiration for deeper meaningful conversation on today’s issues, community and environment.

Each course module includes videos, slide shows and group activities so students and teachers can learn and discuss together. Teachers or Educators who wish for additional information or have questions may reach out to us directly by emailing us at info@haverstrawbrickmuseum.org.
